May Looks Good With Playboy’s Nikki Leigh

May 1, 2012 @ No Comments

Spending quality time with Playboy’s Playmate for May, Nikki Leigh, was part of a day’s work for some of us Monday (April 30). Almost 30 minutes, which is far longer than normal for some of us. Certainly for those of us who were taping an interview for “Sports & Torts” that is to air Thursday (May 3).

Nikki Leigh is the centerfold in the May issue of Playboy magazine. She will be on "Sports & Torts" on Thursday (May 3) at noon on talkzone.com.

Co-host David Spada also was part of the conversation. Nikki was a delightful guest, as anyone who tunes in at noon (or subsequently for the podcast) on talkzone.com will see. The only down side — certainly from this perspective — was Nikki was on the phone in California, while David and I were in the studio in suburban Chicago.

Nikki is a Los Angeles Angels fans, so we had to ask about what the problem is with Albert Pujols. The former St. Louis Cardinals star went 1-for-4 Monday night with a double in the under-performing Angels’ 4-3 victory vs. the visiting Minnesota Twins. Pujols is homerless this season in his American League debut season. He has gone 92 at-bats without a homer, second-longest such streak of his career, and is hitting .217.

Speaking of baseball and of Playboy, here is the magazine’s top 30 from its 2012 preview in the May issue that is on newsstands and elsewhere:

Elsewhere in the wonderful world of wonderful women (named Nikki and otherwise), WWE and the Bella Twins have parted ways. The lovely ladies’ contract ended Monday with WWE saying the duo had been fired. Lisa Marie Varon – a favorite of this site, as faithful readers (and even philanderers) should know — was the twins’ first WWE opponent on television in 2008 when she was billed as Victoria. Brie made her debut vs. Victoria and part of her act consisted of going under the ring and emerging revitalized — because sister Nikki had taken her place. The two later became a popular tag team.

“I wish them the best!” Lisa Marie told web site Diva Dirt.”They are very talented.”

Still talking about and looking at beautiful women, here is April Rose — a favorite of this site — with a video about Maxim’s hot 100 list (yes, some of us like to think of this as something of a public service — in case the Pulitzer Prize committee is wandering through this site):
