Looking Ahead to NBA, Back at Bikini Event (updated)

December 3, 2011 @ No Comments

It now appears that the start of the NBA season will be a three and two fastbreak. Instead of opening with three games on Christmas, the league will have five games on Dec. 25. Which certainly qualifies as a holiday present for all viewers present by a television.

Things are shaping up -- for Maxine Chaikouang and NBA fans.

All this depends on the ratification of the new collective bargaining agreement, but such agreement seems a certainty.

Of interest to Chicago Bulls fans will be the 4 p.m. (Chicago time) opener on the road against the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe Bryant of the Lakers is to make his record-tying 13th Xmas appearance.

The schedule (times are EST):

Boston Celtics at New York Knicks (12 p.m.), TNT
Miami Heat at Dallas Mavericks (2:30 p.m.), ABC
Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Lakers (5 p.m.), ABC
Orlando Magic at Oklahoma City Thunder (8 p.m.), ESPN
Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors (10:30 p.m.), ESPN

As a public service (at least that’s the rationalizing that goes on late at night at the editorial offices of elliottharris.com), here is some video to help get you warmed up for the opening game of the season:

Speaking of video with attractive females (and that always seems to be part of the conversation around here), here is one with Maxine Chaikouang, winner of the bikini competition at the recent NPC 2011 Midwest Ironman competition in Chicago.

What this has to do with the start of the NBA season is anyone’s guess. Not that anyone has to try to figure out a connnection to the Dec. 25 games. Well, you could look at this as something of a gift from the editorial staff at elliottharris.com. Or you simply could look at the video and enjoy.
