Jaime Edmondson’s Week 7 Picks & Pics (updated update)

October 23, 2011 @ No Comments

It would appear that for the first time this season Jaime Edmondson’s NFL picks (and possibly more importantly, pics) appeared well in advance of kickoff for the early games (mean minutes, not hours, OK?). To be perfectly honest, she has done her job week in and week out. It’s the editorial staff at elliottharris.com that was a little slow. OK, more than a little slow.

For some reason, all stars are aligned, and all systems are go. Chicago Bears fans might not be delighted about her selection for their team’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in London. And no remarks about a game abroad being forecast by a broad. Jaime knows her football. And sports. You can follow her at Twitter at @jaimeedmondson. Her most recent installment even comes complete with a video.

As for Jaime’s pick of the Bucs over the Bears, you have to think most general football fans (OK, and Jaime fans as well) aren’t disappointed to see her in a tantalizing Tampa Bay pose.

For anyone in the audience questioning Jaime’s choice of the Miami Dolphins over the Tim Tebow-led Denver Broncos in his return to the Promised Land (state of Florida), here once again is the former Dolphins cheerleader’s reasoning, as posted Sunday on Twitter: ” ….we go over this every sun, I’m always going 2 pick my home town team, no matter who they play!”

Jaime also writes a weekly “Play-By-Playmate” column that appears at playboy.com.

Jaime’s picks for the seven early games: Cleveland over Seattle, Houston over Tennessee, San Diego over the New York Jets, Detroit over Atlanta, Miami over Denver, Tampa Bay over Chicago and Carolina over Washington.

For the four late-afternoon games, Jaime selected Pittsburgh over Arizona, Oakland over Kansas City, Dallas over St. Louis and Green Bay over Minnesota.

For Jaime’s Sunday night pick, she has New Orleans over Indianapolis. Meaning the Colts and her Dolphins would remain deadlocked in the race for Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck as the No. 1 NFL draft pick. Meanwhile you can enjoy the pics.
