It’s Sunday, and you know what that means. Other than you’re up too early after a late night Saturday. Oh, well. It could be worse. There are the baseball playoffs, which for some of us is about as good as it gets.
And then there are the NFL games, which for some of us is about as good as it gets. Even better there are Jaime Edmondson’s NFL picks and pics, which for some of us is as good as it gets. No doubt about that.
The Jan. 2010 Playboy Playmate/former Miami Dolphins cheerleader (which explains her undying support for the ‘Fins) and sports fan (who has parlayed her expertise into a weekly Play-By-Playmate column at playboy.com) has chosen the teams that she believes will win NFL games Sunday. Last week she went 9-7, so she is looking to improve on that. Jaime is 30-18 for the season for those inquring about her statistics (of a football nature).
Her choices? Well, we could list them or have you take a pictorial perusal to figure all that out. For those who may be tight on time (or some other lame excuse not to view her choices), Jaime is going with Chicago over Charlotte, Tennessee over Cleveland, Buffalo over Cincinnati, Minnesota over Kansas City, New Orleans over Jacksonville, Houston over Pittsburgh, Washington over St. Louis, Philadelphia over San Francisco and Detroit over Dallas (her hardest call of the early games).
Her late-starting games: Atlanta over Seattle, New York Giants over Arizona, Miami (if she ever goes against the Dolphins, it will signal the end of the world) over San Diego, New England over Oakland and Green Bay over Denver. For the night game, she takes Baltimore over the New York Jets. All her picks and pics were posted in plenty of time, but your humble correspondent was nowhere near a computer to post.
Let the record show this marks the first time that the editorial staff at elliottharris.com has posted her early-game picks and pics in a timely fashion so that they all are available before kickoff (with seconds to spare). Not that anyone around here is more rested, but that is a secondary consideration at best to keep fans abreast of Jaime’s Sunday showing.
