ESPN Hands-Off Policy? Just a Thought

November 5, 2011 @ No Comments

OK, some stuff you can’t make up. Well, maybe you could if you had a really good imagination. Here’s the story: Former ESPN vice president Keith Clinkscales filed a lawsuit saying he did not fondle himself during a plane flight when he was seated next to reporter Erin Andrews.

Faydra Brown had a successful evening at Fitness Midwest at Harper Colege in Palatine, Ill., in October.

He did so even before a story had been published by Deadspin.com. Clinkscales filed the suit Wednesday in New York against ESPN employee Joan Lynch, whom he suspects is the source of the story.

“She should not have done what she did,” Clinkscales attorney Judd Burstein told the New York Daily News. “She shouldn’t be able to get away with this.”

“We have no comment on the lawsuit,” ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz told the paper. “With respect to these reports, we want to state very clearly that in accordance with ESPN policies, if a claim is brought to our attention, it is taken very seriously and responded to appropriately.”

OK, so what does all this have to do with the video that is featured on today’s post? Nothing. Other than your humble correspondent is going to another of those figure/fitness/bikini/body events, and the accompanying videos happen to be from one in October. Saturday’s event is the NPC Illinois at the Copernicus Theater in Chicago.

If things go according to plan (and on rare occasions around there, they actually do), there will be more photos and videos from that event. And for Sunday’s early effort, there just might be more video from the October event.
