Cavallari Sacked; Cutler Next???

October 5, 2011 @ No Comments

So now Kristin Cavallari knows what it feels like to get blindsided. Any discussions with former fiancee Jay Cutler probably wouldn’t have prepared her for being cast adrift on Tuesday night’s “Dancing With the Stars.”
On the bright side, the Chicago Bears quarterback can focus on next Monday night for football (they play the Detroit Lions) rather than wonder how he can play and still be in the DWTS audience.

Appearing on Wednesday’s “Good Morning America” on ABC (the DWTS network), reality television personality Cavallari said, “Who knows what really happened. Maybe my most memorable year just wasn’t that great compared to some of the other stories.”

Cavallari and dance partner Mark Ballas (shown in the photo to the right) earned a 24 (of a possible 30) for their samba on Monday’s show to put them on seemingly firm footing to remain on the show. Celebrities (and the word is used loosely) were asked to perform a dance that the most memorable year in their live inspired.

“It’s hard to compete with some of the stories that people had,” Cavallari said. “We’re upset. It’s sad to be leaving.”

“It really did come down to the viewer vote,” Ballas said. “At the end of the day that’s the beauty about the show, that the audience gets to pick who they want to go through.”

Guess the reality for the reality TV personality is her fan base is less than that of other TV personalities such as Nancy Grace and Rob Kardashian. If that doesn’t put a person’s life in perspective, nothing does.

“I felt like we got a little low-balled this week,” Ballas said of the couple’s Monday night score. “I thought that Kristin could have popped a couple of 9s.”

Instead she will have time to catch some of Cutler’s “Monday Night Football” act. Assuming he hasn’t been blindsided too many times by the Lions before she tunes in.
